Why I’m Building Financial Freedom in Public (Even When It’s Messy)

2 min
📌 Let’s get this out of the way — I’m not financially free… yet.
I still have debt.
I still check my bank account before I fill up my gas tank.
And I still feel overwhelmed more often than I’d like to admit.

So why am I building this blog?
Why am I putting it all out there — the wins, the worries, the reality?

Because for too long, I felt alone in this.
And if you're reading this, maybe you’ve felt that way too.

🤳 I’m building in public… because I need accountability.

The truth is, I’ve made promises to myself before.
I’ve downloaded the budget templates.
I’ve started “fresh” more times than I can count.

But something shifts when you let people in — even just a little.
This space keeps me accountable.
It keeps me moving forward, even when I want to quit.

💸 I’m building in public… because the advice out there feels disconnected.

Too many money blogs are written by people who are already rich.
Or they talk in a way that assumes you have savings, support, or six income streams.

That’s not where I started.
I started with nothing extra — just a phone, too many bills, and a dream of peace.

This is for people like me — building while surviving.

🧠 I’m building in public… because I want freedom, not perfection.

I’m not trying to impress anyone.
I’m not curating a perfect Instagram life.

I’m doing this so I can eventually breathe easier — and so maybe you can too.

It’s messy.
It’s slow.
It’s not always pretty.

But it’s real.
And that’s what freedom looks like when you're still in the fight.

💌 Final Thought

If you’re chasing freedom but feel like you’re too far behind, I promise — you're not.
You don't need to be perfect.
You don’t need a fancy setup.

You just need a reason, a little courage, and a willingness to start before you're ready.

This is mine.
What’s yours?
